View this post on Instagram Happy News! . The 7 adorable roosters on death row at two of the high risk shelters in NC were rescued! They are now safe and sound and in great hands with @sanctuary_farm_everlasting_car. The boys are currently being kept in the nurture center as quarantine for a couple weeks, giving their caregiver time to get to know them, see how they react to one another, and have the vet come out to do health checks. A couple of the boys have clearly not been handled very much previously, so they will just need some extra cuddling time to help them learn to trust and not fear humans. . Also many thanks to everyone who helped make this happen! Including Triangle Chicken Advocates and the kind person who transported them from the shelters to their new home.
