View this post on Instagram SWIPE Left ?? . Happy Adoption Update! . 'Nugget', the little rooster with the awful sad shelter photo was adopted! He is very sweet and likes to be cuddled, but is definitely scared of humans--which he is learning aren't all bad. He is also being treated for bumblefoot on both of his feet. . He has already made new chicken friends, and is slowly getting intregrated into a little bachelor flocks of other rescued roosters. . Notice how different he looks from the photo the shelter took of him. This is why you can never judge a book by it's cover! . Be willing to take a chance and help out the saddest looking bird in a photo, the one who is less likely to get the attention they deserve. . You just might be surprised at how beautiful they are!
