View this post on Instagram Happy News! These three sweetheart roosters were adopted from Pender County Animal Shelter in NC. These boys were all abandoned by their previous owners and left to die. Thankfully, before they were eaten by a predator, run over by a car, abused or beaten by deranged humans, or starved or froze to death, they were brought to the animal shelter. However, this in itself didn't mean they were safe. Not every bird that is brought to the shelter gets adopted. Most certainly not every rooster. . But these guys got lucky. They were adopted to a good home and given the opportunity to have full and happy lives with a wonderful family caring for them. Thank you Carissa Baxter for opening your heart to these boys! ???????? A post shared by Adopt a Bird Network (@adoptabirdnetwork) on Jan 20, 2020 at 11:08am PST
