Manalapan, NJ - Introducing Aria (ID 35939821)! Aria is a DNA sexed female, white dove. She was found outside in the rain, exhausted and skinny. Fortunately for her she was found by a very nurturing lady who doted on her. She could not keep Aria and gave her to our rescue to find a loving home for this beautiful lady. Aria has an old fracture in her right leg. She holds this leg out straight behind her. She cannot walk at all on it. She hops around on her left leg and can fly. She doesn't let that stop her. She is a feisty lady and once made her foster mom chase her from one high point in the room to another; both out of reach. Aria was seen by an avian vet who said she is in good physical condition other than the old fracture to her leg. This leg will need to be watched to make sure she doesn't get a sore or abrasion in the pressure point at the fracture. Aria's foster dad made a large enclosure for her so she has room to stretch her wings and various perches to hang out on. She also has a stuffed animal white pigeon that she likes to sit near, Aria being fostered in Manalapan, NJ. Please consider opening your heart to her, and provide her a happy, no-kill, forever home she deserves!
