Novelty, OH – Introducing Rusty! Rusty (ID GHRV-A-7322) is an adorable rooster who the shelter considers their “diamond in the rough”. He was being picked on by the other roosters in the flock and is not looking his best. He is hoping you can overlook his broken and missing feathers and see how beautiful he will be in another season. Rusty is about a year old and has been a perfect gentleman during his stay at the shelter. They can't wait to see him blossom in a flock where he can be the king. Roosters are intelligent, empathetic, and affectionate pets. He is looking for a new home where he will NEVER be killed, protected from predators, taken to the vet when sick or injured, and well-cared for and loved as a pet and fellow family member. Please consider opening your heart to him, and providing him a happy, no-kill, forever home he deserves!
