Doc

Doc photo
San Francisco, CA - Introducing Doc! Doc is a very lucky King Pigeon who was found grounded and severely emaciated. He was too weak to even move when a kind San Francisco Police Department officer scooped her up and brought her to safety. He weighs in at a mere 398g, instead of the 600g+ that a King Pigeon should be. He also has a crest due to a modest head wound. The feathers should be laying flat, not flipped up. We are hopeful that with time, rest, food, and love, Doc can recover and be adopted to a loving home very soon. He had a broken wing and foot. The wing was able to heal but his foot had to be removed after it failed to self resolve. He also came in with trich and roundworms. What DIDN'T this poor guy have??? Please consider opening your heart to him, and providing him a happy, no-kill, forever home he deserves!
