Methuen, MA – Introducing Cleveland! Cleveland is a gorgeous young Buckeye rooster, a breed listed as “threatened” by the Livestock Conservancy. This guy has a stunning mahogany color and a cute little pea-comb. He’s pretty calm and seems on the lower end of the totem pole in our bachelor flock. Cleveland was sadly abandoned in a cemetery in the bitter cold and left to fend for himself with two other young roosters. Luckily, a local resident spotted him and called the town’s animal control officer to come rescue him. Cleveland is now safe at Nevins, but would love a home of his own with some lady friends! He would make a perfect house rooster and/or addition to your flock of hens, or addition to your bachelor flock! Read up on this amazingly wonderful new trend that has started increasing in popularity since more and more people have realized how much fun roosters are - http://www.poultrydvm.com/featured-infographic/tips-for-keeping-bachelor-flocks. Please consider opening your heart to him, and providing him a happy, no-kill, forever home he deserves!
*If you adopt him, please let Adopt a Bird Network know!
*Birds cannot be shipped, they must be adopted in person.
