Edelman photo
Methuen, MA – Introducing Edelman (ID A370988)! Edelman, like his namesake, is a tough little bantam rooster with a huge heart! He was found stray in the wreckage of Hurricane Florence, and made the treck up to Nevins just in time to cheer the patriots on. We think he was their good luck charm! Edelman is a Sebright, a bantam breed of rooster with gorgeous feathering. He is a strong flyer, so would do best in an enclosed coop. After his arduous journey, he would love a home with some lady-friends. He would make a perfect house rooster and/or addition to your flock of hens, or addition to your bachelor flock! Read up on this amazingly wonderful new trend that has started increasing in popularity since more and more people have realized how much fun roosters are - http://www.poultrydvm.com/featured-infographic/tips-for-keeping-bachelor-flocks. Please consider opening your heart to him, and providing him a happy, no-kill, forever home he deserves!
*If you adopt him, please let Adopt a Bird Network know!
*Birds cannot be shipped, they must be adopted in person.
