Fairmont, WV – Introducing Renny! Renny is a cute female pigeon who is the survivor of a glue trap. She was found in a Parkersburg, WV parking lot unable to fly, extremely thin, and covered in adhesive residue. She had a fractured ulna and a wound underneath. A few olive oil-and-Dawn baths and some good food later, Renny is completely recovered, aside from her ruined feathers. When she molts later this year, she will grow an entirely new set of feathers, and she will look like a normal bird again! She can also fly, as her break set and healed well. She is a very gentle-natured bird, and she's hilariously vocal. She doesn't mind humans, dogs, or cats now, and she loves house pigeon life. She has laid eggs, so she is a confirmed female. Please consider opening your heart to her, and providing her a happy, no-kill, forever home she deserves!
*If you adopt her, please let Adopt a Bird Network know!
*Birds cannot be shipped, they must be adopted in person.
