Woodford photo
Methuen, MA – Introducing Woodford! Woodford (ID A382492) is a cute golden laced Sebright rooster. He was found as a stray and when he arrived at Nevins he was very ill. He has since recovered and is now looking for a home of his very own! Sebrights are known for their busy personalities and therefore Woodford would love to have a flock! Since Woodford is a bantam he could do well with other bantams or smaller standard sized breeds. He would make a perfect house rooster and/or addition to your flock of hens, or addition to your bachelor flock! Read up on this amazingly wonderful new trend that has started increasing in popularity since more and more people have realized how much fun roosters are - http://www.poultrydvm.com/featured-infographic/tips-for-keeping-bachelor-flocks. Please consider opening your heart to him, and providing him a happy, no-kill, forever home he deserves!
*If you adopt him, please let Adopt a Bird Network know!
*Birds cannot be shipped, they must be adopted in person.

*For adoptions, the shelter asks to see photos of your set-up and that your town is zoned for roosters. Please email farmadoptions@mspca.org for more info or to make an appointment to meet him.
