Lake Hiawatha, NJ - Introducing Presci! Presci (ID 14947884) is a suspected male lovebird. He was given his name after actor Joe Pesci, and much like his name sake he is also quite the memorable character. Pesci was found outside by his previous owner 3 years ago. So he is at least 3 years old. Compared to where he was when he was first found he has come a long way. He was raised in a home with other birds and a few dogs. He is a little bit of an instigator so he may not do well with other smaller birds. He likes to fly close to dogs and even tease fish. He LOVES his swing more than any other toy and will rock back and forth singing to himself in the mirror. He loves to sing, and “talk” to you, so when you talk to him he will chirp back. Additionally when playing lovebird sounds he will sing along with them. You can tell when he’s absolutely happy as he flutters his tail in excitement. Pesci is not (yet) hand tame, but will return to his cage after a decent amount of exercise. He is sleep trained and quiets down easy. If you have any mirrors in your home he will find them for sure and flirt with his beautiful self. He’s a great little bird with a big personality. Pesci is being fostered in Lake Hiawatha, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance to his foster home.
