Howell, NJ - Introducing Frankie! Frankie (ID 14511713) is a gorgeous 12-year-old Hahns macaw. He is a friendly little guy, but his favorite words to say are “No!” and “Hello.” He loves dried pineapple, pistachios, and pears. Balance is an issue for him because of his missing feathers, so he does have to be watched outside of his cage. His favorite place to be is on top of his cage looking out the window or on his human’s shoulder. He will climb around and entertain himself or yell for someone to bring him treats. He is a typical macaw clown hanging upside down and making silly noises. He is also used to being covered every night at 8 o’clock, and he will nicely (for real) remind you. He will go in his cage on demand too. There is never a fight when it’s time to lock him up. Frankie is looking for someone with lots of time to love him so he won’t get bored. He needs to be in a single family home because occasionally he wants to make sure everyone remembers he is there. He loves scratches on the back of his neck. He is shy about stepping up though. Please consider opening your heart to him, and providing him a happy, no-kill, forever home he deserves!
