Marshall, VA - Introducing George! George is a young Jersey Giant rooster that came to the shelter when the other roosters on the farm wouldn't stop bullying him. With a healthy black and iridescent green plumage, George is a healthy young roo with no known medical issues or defects. He is calm, doesn't challenge humans and is relatively quiet. If you're looking for a flock guardian to add to your barnyard George would be glad to fill the position. He would make a perfect house rooster and/or addition to your flock of hens, or addition to your bachelor flock! Read up on this amazingly wonderful new trend that has started increasing in popularity since more and more people have realized how much fun roosters are - http://www.poultrydvm.com/featured-infographic/tips-for-keeping-bachelor-flocks.
