West Seneca, NY - Introducing Ashe! Ashe is an adorable little Black Silkie rooster! He was unfortunately living in the City of Buffalo, where roosters are not allowed to be kept, so he needs to find a new home with some lovely hens to watch over. He has been kept with a small flock of hens and another rooster, Rowan, who we also have up for adoption and they did fine as a group. All of the hens were adopted by folks who couldn't have more roosters, so these boys are living together until we can find them a new home or homes to move to!! They actually get along fine together, so they would be able to be adopted as a pair, if you love little fluffy puff-ball roosters! They would make a great starter bachelor flock! Read up on this amazingly wonderful new trend that has started increasing in popularity since more and more people have realized how much fun roosters are - http://www.poultrydvm.com/featured-infographic/tips-for-keeping-bachelor-flocks. Please consider opening your heart to them, and provide them a happy, no-kill, forever home they deserve!
*If you adopt them, please let Adopt a Bird Network know!
*Birds cannot be shipped, they must be adopted in person.
