New Brunswick, NJ - Introducing Coconut! Coconut is a 13yo male Umbrella Cockatoo who is participating in For the Love of Birds’ Help with Rehoming program. With this program he is remains living with his current family while the rescue networks on his behalf for his next forever home. Coconut’s current family will be relocating out of the country in 2021 and are unfortunately not able to take him with them. Coconut is currently living in New Brunswick, NJ and will only be adopted to a home within driving distance to his location. HE WILL NOT BE SHIPPED and requires at least three in person visits prior to adoption. His current family has final say on who can adopt him. Coconut will only be adopted to a family living in a single family, free standing home – no exceptions. Coconut will not be adopted to a family with a female cockatoo.

If you are interested in adopting them, complete an application on the rescue’s website at ftlob.rescuegroups.org. Please consider opening your heart to him, and providing him a happy, no-kill, forever home he deserves!

*If you adopt him, please let Adopt a Bird Network know!

*Birds cannot be shipped, they must be adopted in person.
