San Francisco, CA - Introducing Terra! Terra (ID A2021358) is calm, sweet, gentle... some sort of high flyer breed pigeon (we think) who was hanging around a home trying to self-rescue with a shattered leg. The homeowner posted in NextDoor and that was shared on Facebook and when Palomacy volunteers learned of the situation, they went out with food and crate and spent hours to trap her. She was hospitalized and her leg break was reduced and bandaged and she's recovering in our Care Coordinator's bird room. Terra is a very lovely and lucky survivor. Please consider opening your heart to her, and providing her a happy, no-kill, forever home she deserves!
