Malverne, NY - Introducing Jerry! Jerry is a male Khaki Campbell duck who was rescued from a live slaughter market in New York City ahead of Easter (surrendered, not purchased). He was emaciated, mostly (temporarily) blind in both eyes due to a severe bacterial infection, and had his toes cut off at the factory farm where he likely lived in a windowless shed with thousands of other ducks. Jerry is now healthy and happy and has become fast friends with another duck named Bailey (also listed). Jerry and Bailey would love to be adopted together. Please consider opening your heart to them, and provide them a happy, no-kill, forever home they deserve!
*If you adopt them, please let Adopt a Bird Network know!
*Birds cannot be shipped, they must be adopted in person.
*Since ducks have an excessive number of wild and domestic animals who want to eat them, it is your responsibility to protect them.
