Obsidian

Methuen, MA - Introducing Obsidian! Obsidian is an adorable silkie cross rooster who was found abandoned. He is “in great condition and is quite social with people. He even participates in our children’s reading program on the weekends, so hopefully you will have time to read to him when he joins your flock! He would do best with other bantam birds that match his size – he is not the tiniest rooster we have, but much smaller than our standard-sized boys. He is definitely a gem of a rooster so don’t miss out”. He would make a perfect house rooster and/or addition to your flock of hens, or addition to your bachelor flock! For more information on keeping bachelor flocks please refer to this infographic - http://www.poultrydvm.com/featured-infographic/tips-for-keeping-bachelor-flocks or feel free to email us with questions to adoptabirdnetwork@gmail.com. Please consider opening your heart to him, and providing him a happy, no-kill, forever home he deserves!
